Science, math and the arts are featured in 14 galleries with continuously changing exhibitions, innovative workshops and exciting activities. Developed with Texas Essential Knowledge Skills (TEKS) and national education standards, our exhibits inspire and engage kids at a variety of learning levels.
There are plenty of parking spaces available in our garage conveniently located across from the Museum. Metered and free parking are also available around the neighboring streets. Please do not park in a “no parking zone.”
No, children must be accompanied by guardians or adults at all times.
No, a child must be a part of your group in order to enter the Museum.
It depends on the season. We recommend Arriving early when we open at 10 am to avoid crowds. (However, the Tot*Spot exhibit is typically busier in the mornings, but this is an excellent time for infant/toddler group play, and for parents to socialize with each other within the exhibit!) During the school year, a visit after 1:30 pm avoids school tours.
No, outside food is not permitted except for dietary restrictions. Please tell us of any restrictions at box office. Our full-service Fresh Café provides a healthy and varied selection of food items.
